Profiles In Stupidity: Republican Congressperson Michelle Bachmann

TW: I have (thankfully) missed most of the last 2 weeks' slime slinging about Ayers et al. and the accompanying insinuations that Obama is somehow "un-American". Today on Hardball a Republican Congressperson, Ms. Bachmann, put more meat on the ridiculous skeleton the Republicans are trying to create. This line of attack symbolizes the ignorance and bile of some of the right wing nuts who clearly believe those of us not adhering to their "patriotic" views are somehow not worthy of inhabiting these United States. Fortunately this is a diverse country with diverse views, unfortunately for the Ms. Bachmann's of the world they are afraid of diversity of thought and background.

From NBC:
"I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views," Bachmann said of Obama. "That's what the American people are concerned about."

"The news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look -- I wish they would -- I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out: Are they pro America or anti America? I think people would love to see an expose like that."
