What do these 4 titles have in common? All were books written by Richard Matheson that were also made into movies. I have seen all of these movies and really liked the first 3 - never had the first clue that they were books to start. Turns out that Richard Matheson, who was born in 1926, was (and still is) a prolific writer. His novels and short stories all have a science fiction or fantasy aspect, many of the short stories were made into episodes of The Twilight Zone.

I'm always excited when I find a new author (new to me, at least)and can't wait to start tracking down some of his books - I bet Somewhere in Time (a somewhat sappy movie with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymore) is actually pretty good.
