TW: Yes this post is partially an excuse to put up an R.E.M. video which is in and of itself sufficient basis. But it is a propos with new stats out today showing the evolution of religion in America, with non-believers growing rapidly. Yet they remain the one religious group with vast under representation in Congress. There is one non-closeted non-believer in Congress, Democratic representative from CA Pete Stark. I suspect there are others lurking in the halls.
