TW: Obama is receiving probably a record amount of scrutiny at the 50 day mark of his presidency. But then it does feel like it has been much longer and has been since W. Bush basically ceded substantive power on Nov 5th if not earlier. And as Silver points out, most POTUS do not enter office amidst a depressionary economy (not to mention a couple of hot wars).Tables like above provide ammo for all points of view, he is no more popular than most or more popular than most depending on your bias. But net net I go with Nate Silver's comments.
