Things I Like - Odds & Ends
OK, I love our cats Sammie (above) and Max (right), but I have to admit that this might be going a bit too far.
The cat groomers at the Catty Shack in South Carolina make purses out of cat fur.
I know, ick.

I guess you're an "'eww' person."
Count me among the, 'Good for her!' people. What is the difference between spinning cat hair into wool and spinning angora hair into wool? The grooming is good for both animals, neither animal is harmed in the slightest for the process, and in both cases, the raw material--instead of going to waste--was turned into a value-added product.
Not that I'd want one. I prefer my bags to be made out of dead cows.

AP!
I understand your point and I agree with it from a purely theoretical perspective, but I still think it's creepy.
I guess it's the 'pet' component. I don't mind wearing a leather jacket or an angora sweater, but they come from animals that don't sit on my lap.
I couldn't eat cat for dinner either...
