TW: Mike Castle is the Republican congressman for Delaware. He may run for the old Biden seat next year and is considered a strong candidate if he does. He held a citizen's forum recently where the "birther" folks raised a ruckus. Castle's response while certainly not supportive was tepid although in that forum I am not sure that he had much choice.
This story has been refuted over and over. To believe the story is to believe is a chain of craziness beyond comprehension (i.e. Obama is personally, despite all evidence to the contrary a pathological liar, no one in authority would stop such a liar from proceeding, the story started with Hillary Clinton supporters but despite the story she somehow has joined his team, etc.). Regardless of the evidence to the contrary some will never believe it.
More importantly to me is the dynamic of the folks at that event. This was apparently not a solo crank. Where are they headed with this? What is their point? The person demanded to get her country back from those people? Who are those people exactly?
There have been folks living in their own parallel universes forever, they just have not occupied a prominent role in a mainstream party.
