This Will Not Be So Funny Someday

Every Obama supporter from day one (back in 2007) has feared an assassination attempt. Personally I regard it as inevitable and only hope the assassin is either unlucky, incompetent or the Secret Service is able to thwart it.

For some reason I can imagine a Muslim (with a permit etc. or maybe even another white guy) being allowed to stand outside a W. Bush rally so serenely yet well-armed. I know for sure the Limbovian/Fox wing-nuts would have gone ballistic.

This is all good fun for the Republican base now...Should such an attempt ever occur there will be many with blood (or at least attempted blood) on their hands. And then we would see what happens when the majority gets very angry. There is responsible opposition and irresponsible opposition.
