Things I Like - Books

I just finished reading the Twilight series. Yes, I know that the vampire/human love story was written for 'young adults' (at least this was the section I was directed to at Border's when I went looking for them), but I found them entertaining. Maybe not as well written as the Harry Potter books but Stephanie Meyer is definitely creative. Anyway, I really enjoyed all four books and was left wanting more when I finished them.

And then I read something interesting the other day. Turns out that Ms. Meyer actually wrote a 5th book in the series. Apparently it's the Twilight story told from Edward's (the vampire love interest) point of view. Unfortunately, a rough draft copy was leaked and Stephanie

Although the 5th Twilight book was set aside, throwing hoards of teenage girls into near hysterics, there's good news for Ms. Meyer's adult readers. Her new book, The Host, is set for publication in May. I saw this review in the New York Times and checked out the first chapter on the Stephanie Meyer website . Safe to say that I'll be stopping by the Border's in May.
