You knew it was going to happen. It's just not possible for me to pass up the 40 year anniversary of Monty Python’s Flying Circus without a mention. And it seems that neither could the Pythons. Despite a 20-year and a 30-year anniversary special, the remaining Pythons (Graham Chapman passed away in 1989) have once again reunited to produce some funny stuff, this time in the form of a documentary.
Monty Python 40 Years Later: 'The Lawyer's Cut' is airing in 6 episodes on the Independent Film Channel. The first installment (The Not-So-Interesting Beginnings) was last night- I really am looking forward to a very funny week.
Some of my favorite bits:
For Mr. Blogger, who does not care for MP but loves his Spam
A classic: The Argument Clinic
I could be arguing in my spare time.
The Black Knight from MP and the Holy Grail
What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
Sheer genius.
